Plaid SO Rad

I know there are a few (okay maybe a lot) of people out there that still associate plaid with farmers, hillbillies, and the south but plaid has evolved and is now a fall staple for everyone! Remember when it was cool in the 90s to tie it around your waist? (Think Nirvana era) that’s back too. The great thing about plaid is that it makes a very basic look pop and can serve as an excellent layering piece!img_0425-copy

I found this plaid shirt by way of my old roommate Andrea! (Thanks girl!) She went shopping one day and when I saw what she got I was like I HAVE TO HAVE THAT.  Red plaid to me is such a classic piece and can be worn throughout the years. I can’t wait to pair my shirt with a blue or navy vest this fall! My exact shirt is sold out, but I like plaid so much I found this one and had to have it as well!

I can imagine wearing this to a sporting event (match your favorite teams colors with your plaid!), a bonfire, or a concert! If you work in a causal environment this would also easily transition from day to night, just by wrapping the shirt around your waist when you are ready to have fun- I mean off of work 😉
