Bell Sleeve Top

Hey hey! Can you believe March is almost over?! Me either! April is going to be a crazy month for us (with a trip to Naples then a wedding in New Jersey! – all in the same week eek!) Anyway I’m trying to savor these few calm days we have left in March. Trying to plan for the next month’s annnnd trying to spend some quality time with Matt.

We’ve both been so busy lately and traveling that we realized we hadn’t had a chance to go out on an actual date night in far too long! So last Saturday we headed over to check out a new spot in Brookside called Plate. Holy geez this place was good! If you are in the KC area and looking for the best kale salad of your life or maybe the best honey-soy crispy brussel sprouts with pork shoulder of your life go check this place out! Oh and they also have actual dinner (and drinks of course) which were both equally delicious. I’ve decided I’m getting the brussels and kale salad as my meal when we go back next time!

Since we hadn’t gone on a date in what seemed like forever I also hadn’t had a good excuse to dress up! I was sooo excited when we decided to out because I got this new top in from StyleWe and was just itching to wear it! Side note if you’ve never heard of StyleWe you HAVE to go check it out !! The quality of their products is so great for the price!

This white mock neck bell sleeve top is going to be worn over and over! I paired it here with destroyed jeans and heels but could easily put it with any skirt in my closet. I also cannot wait to wear it next fall with my fur vest (also considering trying it underneath some overalls….maybe?).  It is such a chic top with the sleeves and then the mock neck gives it a touch of modern flair, which I love! The sleeves are detailed with faux leather and provide an elegant hem for the sleeves. Okay- so if you haven’t gotten the point I LOVE this top! When we walked into Plate I felt like a million bucks wearing it and they gave us a dead center spot. While this could have just been a coincidence I’m going to go ahead and tell myself that it was because we looked so good! (okay maybe they were just doing it bc Matt wore a blazer and looked like a male model) but shh don’t tell him that 😉
