Kansas City Fashion Week Part 1

Hey guys! Last week was KCFW and although it was only my second time attending it was definitely the best time yet! Not only were the shows amazing but the opportunity to meet so many other local bloggers was so so fun! Being a blogger can be really difficult and awkward at times (at least for me!) so having a community of other bloggers who just get it is amazing!

KCFW Day 1 – Kickoff at Kendra Scott

This event was all about mingling and checking out the live models and the jewels of course! This event was held at the Kendra Scott at Town Center (Leawood,KS). While I had been to Town Center plenty of times shopping I had never been in the Kendra Scott store! The store is so beautiful and best of all includes the new color bar! Pretty much you can design your own jewelry there. I’m talking you pick the piece, the color, the details, everything!  Dolce bakery and North Italia catered the event! Given I stuck to my Whole30 and only tried some olives and asparagus spears but it looked delicious! I’ve also been to North before and have yet to find anything on the menu that I don’t love!

KCFW Day 2 – Media Meet & Greet

Monday was a media meet & greet at Fortuity, I unfortunately could not make it but guys this place is where the Kansas City I’m so in love wall is! Plus they have some cool shopping!

KCFW Day 3 Bubbly & Bowties

This event was held in the R24 studio space in the West Bottoms. If you have a knack for interior design, like if you find yourself wandering through Zgallerie like some people go to the Nelson then you should totally check this place out! Located in one of the historic West Bottom warehouses just the walls alone provide and infinite amount of character, add in the amazing décor that R24 owner Cody Brown has added and you’ll be swoon! This was another fun event to meet up with other bloggers! The champagne was flowing (again I abstained) and the photo booths were hopping:
